Elisa Romondia is a proficient Data Analyst and Blockchain Developer. She has an MSc in Psychology and numerous Nanodegrees in Data Science. She combines cutting-edge technologies and psychology, in order to develop new ways to improve our society and our quality of life. Following this idea, with her colleague Lorenzo Zaccagnini, she developed “Dammi la mano”, an app aimed at people with disabilities and their caregivers. This project won the TIM #WCap Prize at Digithon’16, the first official Italian hackathon. Elisa is also an expert of the AR/VR world, she developed the first ARKit app released in Italy and she writes international tutorials in which combines Machine Learning and AR/VR. In 2017, she co-founded “Devoleum”, a decentralized solution that tracks and analyze food supply chains using Ethereum Blockchain, AI and IPFS. For this project, she was recognized as one of the top 10 female entrepreneurs in Europe and she was invited to compete at the StartHer Awards’17 at the Station F in Paris. Devoleum was the first Italian project pitched at Station F and one of the first DApps published, ready to use in the world. In 2018, Forbes mentioned Elisa in the “60 Women-Led Startups That Are Shaking Up Tech Across The Globe” list. She is very active in spreading a positive culture for the application of new technologies for projects on psychological-social issues and for the presence of women in STEM, thanks to her numerous media presentations and interventions at international tech events and her activity as a trainer in workshops, webinars and as a mentor for world-class e-learning companies.
